Not sure why this pic is so small...sorry :/
My front room is quickly filling up with wedding stuff. Eleven more days and it will begin to look normal again. I hope.

My New Obsession
I LOVE this show! "Downton Abbey" is sooooo good. When I was in Boise last March, Dayna introduced it to me and I was hooked after the first 3 episodes (the first 2 were questionable, but I still stuck with it). If you love turn of the 20th century anything, you have got to see this show on PBS. I actually watched it on Netflix, but I it is also on PBS.
I love everything about it. The clothes...How can anyone not LOVE the clothes? I want to dress like that. Maybe the show will get popular enough that we will have this kind of clothing made available again. That would be awesome. Look at the photo below...do you see that wonderful jewelry? The lace? Everything about it is feminine and beautiful.
The characters...Who doesn't love Mr Bates? He is one of my fav's. I hope he solves thing with his ex-wife so that he can live happily ever after with Anna :)
This show even has Maggie Smith. How can you go wrong with Maggie Smith? She is amazing. Even the way she tilts her head pulls me in. Crazy, I know, but still true. If you have access to this show, watch it--starting with episode 3, one and two are a bit alarming-- I almost did not watch anymore after seeing those first two, but so glad I stuck with it. Perhaps you will fall in love with this time period too!
Mother's Day
I just returned from a quick trip to Boise to spend Mother's Day with my mom. This was the first time in 26 years that we were able to spend the holiday together and it was great. Our entire family had originally planned to go to Boise, but when Greg's father passed away, he felt as though he needed to stay and be with his mom. Completely understandable. So...I went by myself :) It was actually probably better that way. I had a completely relaxing few days and am ready to do it all over again in a couple of weeks. I am heading up there again in June while Emma is at girl's camp. We are still not sure where we are going, or what we are going to do, but it will be fun--guaranteed. Dayna will even be around this year to join us. How thankful I am for this time in my life when I am able to enjoy my twin and mom and have a supporting family that helps out in my absence. This will definitely go in the history books as one of the top Mother's Day holidays ever.
